On Friday September 12, 2014 at approximately 10 pm the Barrie Police Service received information that a male party that was before the courts on a charge of Assault Cause Bodily Harm was in breach of the conditions of the Undertaking that he was bound by.
Officers attended a Bayfield St apartment and located the male in the residence of the female victim that he had previously assaulted.
The 48 year old male was arrested and transported to the station where he was held pending a bail hearing.
