(BARRIE, ON) – On August 15, 2016, a single motor vehicle (roll over) collision occurred on Line 13 North in the Township of Oro-Medonte.
As a result of this collision, 19 year old Parker Pautsch of Oro-Medonte Township was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced deceased at the scene.
Subsequent investigation revealed the driver of the pickup truck to be Noah Poisson, age 19, of Oro-Medonte Township. On August 31, 2016 he was arrested and charged with Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle Cause Death, Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle Cause Death by Alcohol and Drug and Exceed 80mgs of Blood Alcohol Content Cause Death. All are offences contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. The accused has been held in custody pending a Bail Hearing.
