(ORILLIA, ON) – The Orillia Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is seeking the assistance of the public in identifying a male party involved in an assault on Peter Street South in the City of Orillia.
On Friday March 14, 2014 at approximately 2:30 a.m., two females were walking home through an alleyway off of Peter Street South between Mississaga Street East and Colborne Street East. The two females were approached by an unknown male and sprayed with what appeared to be bear spray. The suspect ran off in an unknown direction and the victims went home and contacted police. The Orillia OPP is currently investigating the incident but is seeking the assistance of the public in identifying the male.
The suspect is described as younger looking, approximately 21 years of age, wearing a greyish hoody or jacket with possibly dirty blue jeans.
