OPP Seek Assistance In Identifying Male And Vehicle

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Norfolk County Detachment is investigating an incident after police were called to a Tisdale Side Road, Windham, Norfolk County, Ontario address.

On Sunday, August 2, 2015 at approximately 5:30 p.m., police were contacted by a concerned homeowner after they observed a pick-up truck stop on the side of the roadway.

Through the course of investigation it was determined that a resident observed a pick-up truck stop by their residence and a male passenger exit from the vehicle. The male that exited was carrying a long rifled gun and proceeded to point the rifle into a wooded area near the homeowner’s residence.

The male then fired the rilfe from the area of the pick-up truck into the wooded lot at which time two other males exited from the truck. The concerned homeowner began to walk towards the roadway at which time all three males fled after realizing that they were being watched. The occupants and vehicle fled and were last seen on Tisdale Side Road.

The suspect is described as male, white, approximately 5’8, 20 to 30 years of age, short brown/ blonde hair, wearing a white t-shirt and khaki shorts.

The pick-up truck described as a Ford F150, royal blue in colour with a chrome grill.

The Norfolk County OPP is continuing to investigate and is seeking assistance from the public. If anyone has any information regarding this incident they are being asked to contact the Norfolk County Detachment at 1-888-310-1122.
