(Prince Edward County, ON) On January 17, 2014 at 10:18am the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Prince Edward County detachment was contacted by the Prince Edward County Fire Department regarding a work related accident. The incident took place on a property located on County Road 18 in the Ward of Athol. Workers were cutting down trees at the time of the accident. The injured male worker was transported by ambulance to Kingston General Hospital. The OPP have contacted Ministry of Labour to investigate.
