(ZORRA TWP., ON) – On January 22, 2017 at 7:40 p.m. members of the Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a collision at the round-a-bout located on Road 68 and Line 37 of Zorra Township.
Investigation revealed that the driver of a Chevrolet van was travelling southbound through the round-a-bout when it was struck by a marked police cruiser traveling eastbound entering into the round-a-bout. Nobody was injured and damage to both vehicles was minor.
Provincial Constable R. Rawlings was subsequently issues a Provincial Offence Notice for Failing to Yield. Rawlings is a three year veteran with the Oxford County OPP.
