(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment is currently investigating a theft from a Bonnie Drive, Simcoe, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Friday, December 6, 2013 in the early morning hours, unknowns attended Wellington Park and gained entry into a Wishing Well that was located on the property. Unknowns then subsequently removed a quantity of Canadian currency.
The Wishing Well had been placed in the park to accept donations for the Panorama River Light Display and police are seeking the public’s assistance with this investigation.
The Norfolk County OPP Detachment is continuing to investigate and if anyone has any information regarding this incident, they are being asked to contact the Norfolk County OPP Detachment at 1-888-310-1122.
