(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment responded to an incident at a Norfolk Street South, Simcoe, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Sunday, February 9, 2014 at approximately 1:08 p.m., the Norfolk County OPP attended the address after being contacted by a concerned citizen.
Through the course of investigation it has been determined that unknowns had attempted to start a fire in a large recycling bin that was located behind the address during the early morning hours. The bin sustained minor damage and police are reminding all residents to report any suspicious activity.
The OPP are seeking the public’s assistance with this investigation and anyone with information is asked to contact the Norfolk County OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
