(CITY OF TEMISKAMING SHORES, ON) – Members of the Temiskaming Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were conducting a R.I.D.E. Program in Haileybury on February 7, 2014.
At approximately 9:48 p.m. police checked that status of an approaching driver. Further investigation resulted in charges.
Eric GARREAU, 41, of Haileybury has been charged for Over 80 – section 253(1)(b) of the Criminal Code and Driving While Disqualified – section 259(4)(a) of the Criminal Code.
Accused will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Haileybury on April 8, 2014.
