(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment investigated a motor vehicle collision at a Mole Side Road, Turkey Point, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Sunday, August 15, 2013 at approximately 5:44 a.m., Norfolk County OPP, Norfolk County Paramedics and Norfolk County Fire Services were dispatched to Hidden Valley Trailer Park as a result of a motor vehicle collision.
Through investigation it has been determined that a grey, 2003 Saturn, struck a parked motor vehicle, then travelled eastbound through the park colliding with a tree.
The driver of the motor vehicle, 67 year old Roger J MEINZINGER from Elora, Ontario was subsequently pronounced deceased by the attending coroner.
Technical Traffic Collision investigators are assisting with the investigation.
A post-mortem examination is to be conducted today, Monday, September 16, 2013 in order to determine cause of death.
The investigation is continuing.
