OPP INVESTIGATING COLLISION

(HALIBURTON, ON) – On Saturday October 19, 2013 at approximately 6:25 pm a motor vehicle collision occurred on County Road 21 at the entrance to Todds Independent grocery store in the Municipality of Dysart et al. A motor vehicle was stopped at the traffic lights at that location when it was rear ended by a suspect vehicle which then stalled. The male driver and female passenger then pushed the stalled vehicle from the intersection at which time it rolled into the RPM parking lot and impacted a new crated snowmobile causing damage to it. The suspects eventually fled the scene in the vehicle. The suspect vehicle is believed to be a light blue or turquoise four door, possibly a Neon. The Haliburton Highlands Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are asking members of the public that observed the collision or may have information regarding it, to please contact Constable A.
