(Ottawa, ON) -The Ottawa Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police is presently investigating a motor vehicle collision on Highway 416 northbound between Bankfield Road and Fallowfield Road.
At approximately 4:10 am, a collision occurred involving two tractor trailers. One person was transported to hospital with life threatening injuries.
Highway 416 northbound is currently closed between Bankfield Road and Fallowfield Road during the on scene investigation. Motorists are advised to follow the Emergency Detour Routes.
The collision in under investigation and the OPP is asking anyone who may have any information in relation to this collision to contact the detachment at 613-270-9171.
