(BECKWITH TOWNSHIP, ON) – On October 7, 2013 at approximately 4:00 pm the Lanark County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a gunshot coming from an address on Arklan Road.
A 47-year-old male victim was located at hospital with serious, non-life threatening injuries.
A 73-year-old Beckwith Township man was arrested and is presently in police custody facing charges of Assault with a Weapon and Possession of a Weapon Dangerous to the Public Peace. He is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice, Perth later today.
