(TAY TOWNSHIP, ON.) – On September 25th, 2014 at approximately 1:45 p.m., members to the Southern Georgian Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police and Tay Fire Department responded to a fire at the rear of a residence on Simcoe Street in the Village of Port McNicholl.
Upon arrival it was discovered that a motor vehicle was on fire and an individual was located deceased.
This investigation is ongoing with the assistance of the Southern Georgian Bay OPP Crime Unit.
