(Penetanguishene, On)- Members of the Southern Georgian Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are currently investigating several occurrences in the Penetanguishene to Waubaushene area of business owners being victimized by counterfeit money.
The counterfeit currency is described as being $50.00 American currency bills which upon careful examination do appear to be counterfeit.
In each occurrence between Oct 15-17, 2014 2 non white males are suspected to be passing the currency in area businesses.
