(CALEDON, ON) – On October 18th, 2014 at 00:42 hours, officers from the Caledon Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) along with Caledon Emergency Services personnel responded to a pedestrian fatality on Shaw’s Creek Road, south of Highpoint Side Road.
Preliminary investigation has revealed that the pedestrian was walking on the east side of Shaw’s Creek Side Road when he was struck by a northbound motor vehicle.
The OPP are confirming that the pedestrian has been identified as Caledon resident Kenneth Carr, age 62.
Shaw’s Creek Road between Highpoint Side Road and Beech Grove Side Road remains closed while OPP Technical Traffic Investigators are investigating the fatality.
