OPP Arrest Youth For Spray Painting CN Rail Bridge

(BRANT COUNTY, ON) –Members of the Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called by a concerned citizen regarding several youths on and near the CN Rail train tracks on John Street in Paris within the County of Brant at approximately

4:00 p.m. on August 6, 2015.

OPP investigators attended and found a youth spray painting the bridge. The youth whose name cannot be released because of the Youth Criminal Justice Act was arrested for mischief to property under $5,000 contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.

The youth will appear in the Ontario court of Justice at a later date to answer to the charge.

Three other youths also located at the John Street bridge were arrested and charged for Trespassing under the Trespass to property Act and will appear in Provincial Court, Brantford, Ontario at a later date to answer to the charge.

The County of Brant OPP are reminding the community that train tracks are private property they are not open to the public.
