(GUELPH-ERAMOSA TOWNSHIP, ON) – On January 19, 2014, at approximately 10:30 a.m. a fully marked Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) cruiser was travelling south bound on County Road 44 just south of Highway 7 in Guelph-Eramosa Township when the driver lost control and rolled into the west ditch.
The officer was taken to a local hospital for precautionary purposes and released without injuries. There were no other vehicles involved in the collision.
The investigation is continuing and further information will be provided as it becomes available.
