(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment was kept busy over this past long weekend responding to a variety of incidents.
Officers dealt with 240 calls for service over the long weekend, which included motor vehicle collisions with no life threatening injuries, Liquor Licence Act offences, domestic / family disputes and a variety of other calls.
The OPP also conducted traffic enforcement ensuring road safety throughout Norfolk County. The following is a list of some of the offences that the officers issued charges for.

Several R.I.D.E (Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere) checks were established where officers spoke to several drivers.
The OPP also patrolled area trails on ATV’s as well as conducted several cottage checks and found that everyone conducted themselves in a safe and responsible manner.
