(HALIBURTON, ON) – On Thursday April 17, 2014 officers of the Haliburton Highlands Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a call for an erratic driver on Highway 35 in the Township of Minden Hills Ontario. OPP located and stopped the vehicle on county Road 121. The male driver failed a roadside screening device test for alcohol and was arrested. The male was transported to the OPP detachment and was charged with Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle and Having Open Liquor in his vehicle. John ROITZ age 57 from the Municipality of Trent Lakes Ontario is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Minden on June 04, 2014.
