Nathan COPPIN – 132 in an 80

(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON.) – A recent vehicle stop conducted by the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has resulted in a local driver facing two Highway Traffic Act related charges.

On September 27, 2013 an OPP officer observed a vehicle travelling at 132 km/h in an 80 km/h zone on Kirkfield Road within the City of Kawartha Lakes. The officer subsequently stopped this vehicle and further investigation revealed that the driver was suspended from driving.

Nathan COPPIN, 25 years of age, of Bobcaygeon, was charged with stunt driving and driving while suspended. The accused will appear in court in Lindsay on November 12, 2013.
