(HUNTSVILLE, ON) On Sunday September 29, 2013 just after midnight members of the Huntsville Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were advised of an assault that had taken place on Earl’s road in the town of Huntsville.
During the investigation it was found that some friends were enjoying a bon fire at the Earl’s road residence when an argument sparked leading to a physical fight. One male involved in the altercation was taken to a local hospital with injuries that he received during the fight.
The members of the Muskoka Crime Unit, along with the detachment’s Scenes of Crimes officer assisted in the investigation.
As a result Kevin GREEN (38yrs) of Huntsville has been arrested and charged with Assault with a Weapon, Utter Threats, Possession of a Weapon for Dangerous Purpose and Breach of Recognizance under the Criminal Code of Canada. The accused was held for a bail hearing and will appear in Bracebridge court on Monday September 30, 2013 to answer to his charges.
