(QUINTE WEST, ON) – On February 8th, 2016, at approximately 2:20am officers from the Quinte West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped a motor vehicle for a Highway Traffic Act offence.
During the stop it was also determined that the driver of the motor vehicle had been drinking.
Morgan BURLEY, 25, of Quinte West has been charged with:
Driving with More than 80 mgs. of Alcohol in Blood – Criminal Code of Canada 253(1)(b) Criminal Code of Canada
Drive motor vehicle, no currently validated permit – Section 7(1)(a) of the Highway Traffic Act
Novice driver – Blood Alcohol Content above zero – Section 44.1(3) of the Highway Traffic Act
The female was released on a Promise to Appear and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice Belleville on February 25th, 2016.
(QUINTE WEST, ON) – On February 9th, 2016, at approximately 2:45am officers from the Quinte West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police stopped a motor vehicle in a parking lot in Frankford.
Following an investigation it was determined that the driver’s ability to operate a motor vehicle was impaired by alcohol.
James BRADFORD, 30, of Ameliasburgh has been charged with:
Driving While Ability Impaired- motor vehicle (Alcohol) – Section 253(1)(a) Criminal Code of Canada
Driving with More than 80 mgs. of Alcohol in Blood – Criminal Code of Canada 253(1)(b) Criminal Code of Canada
The male was released on a Promise to Appear and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice Belleville on February 25th, 2016.
