(TOWN OF NEW TECUMSETH, ESSA & ADJALA-TOSORONTIO) – On October 23, 2016 at approximately 4:07am, members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a call regarding a single motor vehicle into the ditch on County Rd 27 in Essa Township.
Police arrived and found that the driver was exhibiting obvious signs of alcohol impairment. He was arrested and taken to the Alliston OPP station where he was later charged with 1) Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle and 2) Operation of a Motor vehicle- Over 80 mgs. His licence was suspended for 90 days and his vehicle was impounded for 7 days. He is required to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Bradford on November 10th, 2016 to answer to the charges.

On October 23, 2016 at 4:18am, police were flagged down by a concerned citizen regarding a male in a restaurant parking lot on Young Street in Alliston.
Police attended and found a male in his vehicle displaying strong signs of being under the influence of drugs. The male was investigated and subsequently arrested and transported to the Toronto OPP station for further investigation. EVAN GASPARINI , 20 years old of New Tecumseth was charged with 1) Impaired by Drugs- Care or Control of a Motor Vehicle, 2) Refusing to Provide a Sample, and 3) Possession of a Controlled Substances X 3. His licence was suspended for 90 days and his vehicle was impounded for 7 days. He is required to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Bradford on December 8th, 2016 to answer to the charges.
On Sunday October 24th, 2016 at 10:54 p.m. police responded to a single motor vehicle collision into a barrier at County Rd 15 and County Rd 5, Tosorontio Township. Police investigated the driver for impaired and she was subsequently arrested. Nicole MALLOZZI, 24 years old of New Tecumseth was charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle- Over 80 mgs. Her driver’s license was suspended for 90 days and her vehicle was impounded for 7 days. She is required to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Bradford on November 24th, 2016 to answer to the charge.
