(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON.) – A recent vehicle stop conducted by the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) resulted in numerous Highway Traffic Act (HTA) violations being discovered.
On December 11, 2014 an OPP officer stopped a commercial motor vehicle on Highway 7 near Peace Road. Investigation revealed a number of infractions.
Mitchell KLOMPMAKER, 21 years of age, of Norwood, was charged with the following HTA offences:
Driving without a licence
Operating a motor vehicle without a validation tag
Failing to display device
The vehicle was removed from the highway.
