(GODERICH, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers are currently investigating the theft of a silver 2006 Pontiac Pursuit stolen from a driveway located on Gloucester Terrace in Goderich. The two-door hatchback was stolen on December 7, 2014 sometime between 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.
The vehicle had been left unlocked with a set of keys in the vehicle. This case should be another reminder to all to “Lock it or Lose itâ€Â. Please remember to lock your car, remove the ignition key and secure your valuables in a spot where criminals will not be tempted to steal them. These simple preventative steps are effective at deterring crime otherwise you may fall victim to a preventable crime.
The vehicle is valued at approximately $11,000.
