(HUNTSVILLE, ON) On Monday November 4, 2014 just after 4:00pm Huntsville Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was notified of a missing elderly male on Chaffey St in the town of Huntsville. The 77 year old male had gone for a walk around 2:00pm and due to a medical condition the family grew concerned when he had not returned.
Central Region Emergency Response Team (ERT) along with Canine, CFOPP (helicopter) and Muskoka EMS attended to assist in locating the male. Just prior to 7:00pm Canine and ERT located the elderly male in the gravel pit area not far from where he was last seen. He was reported to be in good health but transported to a local hospital as a precaution.
