(SUDBURY, ON)- On October 6, 2016, at approximately 5:05 p.m., members from the Sudbury Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were conducting radar enforcement and initiated a traffic stop on Highway 69, in the City of Greater Sudbury.
As a result of the investigation, it was found that the male driver was under suspension.
Miguel PEREIRA, 37 years of age, from Brampton, was charged with the following:
Driving while under suspension, contrary to 53(1) of the Highway Traffic Act
Speeding, contrary to section 128 of the Highway Traffic Act
The accused will appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Sudbury, on October 31, 2016.
