(MIDDLESEX COUNTY, ON)- Over the last four days the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has responded to seven break and enter complainants within the County of Middlesex.
On Saturday September 14, 2013 at 3:02 p.m. police responded to the 100 block of Fieldstone Crescent, Middlesex Centre. Police learned that suspect(s) gained entry to the garage area of the home sometime on Wednesday September 11, 2013 between the hours of 07:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. It was confirmed that the main garage door was left open at the time of the theft. Suspect(s) proceed to remove ATV equipment, alcohol and a bicycle valued at over $1500.
On Sunday September 15, 2013 police responded to a break and enter at the Lakeview Aqua Golf Range located on Glendon Drive, Middlesex Centre. Police learned that sometime overnight suspect(s) gained entry to the club house area of the business through a side window. A parked pick-up truck was also entered on the front lot. Police have learned that approximately $50 of Canadian currency was taken.
On Sunday September 15, 2013 police responded to a break and enter on the 6000 block of Marion Street, Thames Center. Police learned that sometime between Sunday September 7 and Sunday September 15, unknown suspect(s) gained entry to a detached garage through an unlocked window, where suspect(s) located keys to a parked ATV. The vehicle was driven from the scene. The vehicle has been identified as a green, 2007, four wheel drive, Arctic Cat ATV. The ATV has been valued at over $7000.
On Sunday September 15, 2013 members of the Middlesex OPP responded to assist with a break and enter complaint located on the 100 block of Antler River Road, Chippewas of the Thames First Nation. Police learned that sometime over the previous twenty four hours unknown suspect(s) gained entry to a home through an unlocked patio door. Once inside the suspect(s) removed a 50†television, blue ray player and an undetermined quantity of jewelry. A value of the stolen property has not been determined at this time.
On Monday September 16, 2013 at 3:38 p.m. police responded to a break and enter complaint at the 10000 block of Hedley Drive, Middlesex Centre. Police learned that sometime between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. unknown suspect(s) gained entry to the home through an unlocked, rear patio door. Once entry was made suspect(s) completed a search of the home and removed a quaintly of items valued at over $8000. Police have learned that a black pick-up truck and a white car where observed in the laneway by a neighbour at the time of the theft.
On Monday September 16, 2013 at 5:30 p.m. police responded to a break and enter complaint on the 4300 block of Newbiggen Drive, Southwest Middlesex. Police learned that sometime between 8:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. unknown suspect(s) gained entry to the home by kicking open the rear door. The house was searched and suspects removed an unknown quaintly of jewelry. A value of the theft has not yet been determined.
On Wednesday September 18, 2013 at 00:58 a.m. police responded to a break and enter on the 12500 block of Ten Mile Road, Middlesex Centre. Police learned that sometime during the previous two days unknown suspects gained entry to an unlocked garage area of the home, where they proceeded to forced open and interior door to the residence. A search of the residence was completed and a quaintly of electronics was removed, including a XBOX, television and hard drives. The value of the theft has not been determined.
