(TECUMSEH, ON) -The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) in Tecumseh responded to a call last evening, July 28, 2014, at approximately 8:30 p.m., on Tecumseh Road East just west of Lacasse Boulevard in Tecumseh.
Officers received several reports from citizens regarding an erratic driver heading eastbound from the City of Windsor.
Officers arrived on scene and located a single motor vehicle that had struck a railroad control panel and a chain link fence near the CN railway line.
The male driver and lone occupant of the vehicle, exhibited signs of impairment and was arrested at the scene.
A 33 year old man from Dearborn, Michigan was charged with Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle; Refuse to Provide a Breath Sample and Dangerous Driving. He was held for a bail hearing.
