(TOWN OF NEW TECUMSETH, ON) On Saturday the 24th of January 2015 at 9:00 p.m. an officer with the Nottawasaga Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was on general patrol in Tottenham, the Town of New Tecumseth on Queen Street. He observed an erratic driver, and initiated a traffic stop.
After further investigation into the driver, it was determined the male driver, 28-year old Michael PARKES of Tottenham was impaired by alcohol. He was arrested and charged with Over 80mgs of alcohol per 100 millilitres of blood.
He was released and is scheduled to appear in court on the 26th of February 2015 in answer to his charge.
