(GUELPH/ERAMOSA TOWNSHIP, ON) -On November 11, 2013 at approximately 7:30 a.m.Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were on general patrol on County Road 22 just east of Highway 6 in Guelph/Eramosa Twp when they observed a motor vehicle collision. Police observed a black Ford vehicle attempt to turn into a driveway however, the driver misjudged the turn and the vehicle drove into a metal fence causing damage. Police spoke to the male driver and discovered that he had been drinking.
Michael Kane aged 60 of Nichol Township has been charged with Over 80 mgs and Impaired Driving contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada as well as Drive While Under Suspension contrary to the Highway Traffic Act. He was held for a bail hearing.
