(Cavan-Monaghan Township, ON) – Members of the Peterborough County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigated a collision near an address on Brown Line Saturday night just before 11:00pm.
Officers investigated and found alcohol to be a factor in the collision. Michael James CURRIE (age 18) of Cavan-Monaghan Township was arrested at the scene and charged with:
Impaired Driving
Driving with more than 80mg of alcohol in his blood
Fail to comply with recognizance
Driving while Disqualified
Breach of Probation
The accused was held in custody pending a Bail Hearing scheduled for today.
