(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON.) On September 1, 2013 an officer from the City of Kawartha Lakes detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was on patrol in the Coboconk area when a male party was observed walking along Victoria Streeet drinking a beer.
As the officer approached, the male party threw the beer away. The male would not identify himself to the officer.
As a result of the interaction, Michael DEAN, 26 years of age, was charged with littering, contrary to the Highway Traffic Act.
