(PEMBROKE, ON) – On November 05, 2015 members of the Upper Ottawa Valley Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), with the assistance of OPP’s Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) and Emergency Response Team (ERT), executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) search warrant at a residence in the City of Pembroke. As a result four adults were arrested and quantities of drugs were seized. 37 year old Dion RANGER and 34 year old Amanda GRAHAM, both of Pembroke, are both charged with the following CDSA offences:
· Possession of Schedule II Substance – Cannabis Marihuana
· Possession of Schedule I Substance – Cocaine
· Possession of Schedule I Substance – Methamphetamine
· Possession of Schedule III Substance – Psilocybin
· Possession of Schedule I Substance – Buprenorphine
GRAHAM was released on a Promise to Appear and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke on December 08, 2015. RANGER was further charged with Failing to Comply with Conditions of an Undertaking Given by an Officer in Charge contrary to the Criminal Code. He was held for a bail hearing and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke on November 10, 2015.
24 year old James Gordon MITCHELL of Ottawa and 23 year old Samantha REINERT of Pembroke are both charged with the following CDSA offence:
· Possession of Schedule II Substance – Cannabis Marihuana
REINERT was released on a Promise to Appear and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke on December 08, 2015. MITCHELL was further charged with Failing to Comply with his Probation Order contrary to the Criminal Code. He was held for a bail hearing and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke on November 10, 2015.
