(WELLINGTON NORTH TOWNSHIP, ON) – On April 14, 2016 at approximately 4:40 a.m., members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) along with the Street Crime Unit (SCU), OPP Tactics and Rescue Unit (TRU), Emergency Response Team (ERT) and Canine executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act Search Warrant at a residence located on Fergus Street South in Mount Forest, Wellington North Township.
A quantity of methamphetamine, replica handguns, knives, Canadian currency and drug paraphernalia were seized.
47-year-old Stephen LOHWINOW of Wellington North Township has been charged with Possession of a Methamphetamine contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on May 17, 2016 to answer to the charge.
