(PARIS, ON) – A member of the Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has been issued a Provincial Offence Notice following an early morning collision on Washington Street in Paris, Ontario.
Provincial Constable Sylvie GAGNON was reversing a fully marked cruiser out of a private driveway upon completion of a call when she struck a parked vehicle on the roadway.
The officer was uninjured and there was minor damage to the vehicles.
The officer, an 11-year member of the Brant County OPP was issued a Provincial Offence Notice under the Highway Traffic Act for Start From Stopped Position – Not in Safety.
