(GUELPH-ERAMOSA TOWNSHIP, ON) – On March 9, 2014 at approximately 6:12 a.m. members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) located a 2003 Honda in a snowbank just off Highway 7 near Wellington Road 44 in Guelph-Eramosa Township.
Officers woke up the male driver who was seated behind the steering wheel and upon speaking with him discovered that he had been drinking and showed obvious signs of impairment.
Matthew Pettipher age 25 of Acton has been charged with Care or Control of Motor Vehicle While Impaired and Over 80 mgs contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph court on March 28, 2014 to answer to the charge.
