Matthew EMERY – Drunk Driving

(MIDDLESEX COUNTY, ON) – On October 18, 2016, at approximately 11:24 p.m., a male was observed in a parking lot on Caradoc Street South, in Strathroy Caradoc, Ontario, with an open can of beer.

Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) determined that the 31-year-old male in the driver’s seat of the motor vehicle, a blue GMC pickup truck, had been drinking alcohol.

A roadside screening device was administered, and the driver registered a “fail”. He was placed under arrest and transported to a Middlesex County OPP detachment for further breath testing.

As a result of the police investigation, Matthew EMERY, from Southwest Middlesex, Ontario, has been charged with care or control over 80 mgs, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.

The accused was released from police custody by way of a Promise to Appear (PTA), and is scheduled to answer the charge in a London court on December 5, 2016.
