Martin VANDERYDT – Drunk Driving

(ADELAIDE METCALFE, ON) – On September 7, 2016, at approximately 4:37 p.m., the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were alerted to a possible impaired driver travelling on Calvert Drive.

Officers located the white Ford pickup truck and conducted a motor vehicle stop. It was determined that the 44-year-old male had been drinking alcohol. He was placed under arrest, and transported to a Middlesex County OPP detachment for breath testing.

As a result of the police investigation, Martin VANDERYDT, from Southwest Middlesex, Ontario, has been charged with driving while ability impaired – motor vehicle (alcohol), and driving with more than 80 mgs of alcohol in blood.

The accused was released from police custody by way of a Promise to Appear (PTA), and is scheduled to answer the charges in a London court on October 6, 2016.
