(MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ON) – On January 14, 2017, at approximately 7:09 p.m., the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a traffic complaint involving a white Hyundai car travelling northbound on Richmond Street.
Officers located the motor vehicle in a parking lot on Medway Road, and determined that the 36-year-old male driver had been drinking alcohol.
He was placed under arrest, and transported to a Middlesex County OPP detachment for breath tests, which revealed he had consumed more than three times the legal limit of alcohol.
As a result of the police investigation, Mark MAGIER, from London, Ontario, has been charged with care or control while impaired (alcohol), and care or control over 80 mgs, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
The accused was released from police custody by way of a Promise to Appear (PTA), and is scheduled to answer the charges in a London court on March 1, 2017.
