(East-Hawkesbury, ON) On November 16th, 2013, in the Municipality of East-Hawkesbury, while on patrol shortly after 5 pm, on Highway 417, OPP Constable Luc Lécuyer observed a silver 2010 Subaru Forester traveling at 156 km/h in a posted 100 km/h zone. The vehicle was subsequently intercepted.
The driver, Marco POLIDORI (49 yrs) of Stittsville, ON, was charged with section 172 of the Ontario Highway Traffic Act for Race a motor vehicle.
The vehicle was seized and impounded for 7 days.
The drivers’ licence was also seized and suspended for 7 days.
The accused is scheduled to appear at the L’Orignal Court on December 5th
