Man Passes Lit Up Police Cruiser And Gets Careless Driving Charge

(COUNTY OF BRANT, ON) – A County of Brant Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer was responding to a collision on the 403 Highway, in the County of Brant, on December 11, 2014.

At approximately 7:20 a.m. the officer was east bound on the 403 Highway with all the emergency lights activated. The highway was snow covered and a male driving a grey Honda passed the officer. Fortunately the officer was not needed for the collision and was able to stop the vehicle.

Patrick SOLONENKO 27 years of age from the City of Hamilton is facing the following Highway Traffic Act charges
