(GUELPH-ERAMOSA TOWNSHIP, ON) – On October 10, 2014 at approximately 12:30 a.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were patrolling Highway 6 near Woodlawn Road, Guelph-Eramosa Township and located a man inside a vacant home. The man did not have permission to be within the home and was arrested. During the search, suspected marijuana was located.
Guelph Police officers attended the scene to assist.
Benjamin MANNHARDT age 43 of Guelph-Eramosa Township has been charged with Break and Enter, Unlawfully in a Dwelling and Fail To Comply with Undertaking contrary to the Criminal Code. He is also charged with Possession of Marijuana Under 30 grams contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on November 14, 2014 to answer to the charges.
