The Chatham-Kent police have arrested a man for impaired driving in Ridgetown early this morning.
Shortly after 2:00 a.m. an officer believed a man was operating his truck on Victoria Avenue while under the influence of alcohol. The man was arrested and transported to police headquarters for further breath tests.
The 47-year-old Ridgetown man has been charged with impaired driving and failing to provide a sample of his breath. He will be held in custody until sober then released pending a future court date.
