The Chatham-Kent police have arrested a man in connection with a break and enter earlier this summer.
On July 17, 2013, police responded to a break and enter at a business on Richmond Street in Chatham. Unknown suspect(s) forced their way into the business causing $300 damage to a door. An Apple computer, valued at approximately $2000 was located on the floor damaged. A Scenes of Crime Officer examined the scene and forensic evidence was seized for analysis.
Through investigation, the man responsible was identified. Yesterday morning, the 31-year-old Chatham man was arrested. He has been charged with break and enter. He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
