(QUINTE WEST, ON) – On November 19, 2013, members of the Quinte West detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), under the direction of the OPP Detective Inspector Paul McCrickard, Criminal Investigation Branch, launched an investigation into a report of a missing person, Charles Dopking, 47 of Murray Ward in Quinte West. DOPKING has not been located. The investigation is continuing.
As a result of that investigation, investigators have charged Aaron James CHAMPKEN, 37 of Oshawa, with Obstruct Police.
Champken is also charged with Obstruct Police and Public Mischief for reporting a false incident on December 18, 2013 at his home in Oshawa, ON.
