The Chatham-Kent police have arrested a man from their Wanted List.
On June 30, 2013 around midnight, the man was observed walking across the lawn of a residence on Victoria Avenue in Wallaceburg. The man then tried to access the doors of a van parked in the driveway. Officers located the man and he was arrested and charged with trespass by night. The man was released pending a future court. On August 28, 2013 the man failed to attend court and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On September 11, 2013 the man was charged with breaching his probation order and another warrant was issued for his arrest.
Yesterday morning the 22-year-old man was located in Windsor and arrested on the outstanding warrants. Officers from the Chatham-Kent Police Service transported the man back to Chatham-Kent and he was taken over to the court house pending a bail hearing.
