(CALEDON, ON) – On April 18th, 2014, Street Crime Officers from the Caledon Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) began an investigation into the sale of illegal drugs.
That evening, officers were outside a Village of Bolton establishment when they observed a drug transaction between 2 males. The officers observed as the males entered a vehicle and proceeded on Regional Road 50. With the assistance of platoon members, officers conducted a vehicle stop and located a quantity of drugs, believed to be cocaine. Total value of seized drugs is estimated at $1,730.00
In conclusion, Ryan Jeffory SUITOR, 26, of Caledon was arrested and charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime and Trafficking in Schedule 1 Substance. He was held in custody and appeared at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton the following day.
Shane Matthew McMULLAN, 32 of Caledon and Winston WALTERS, 40, of Brampton were arrested and charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime and Trafficking in Schedule 1 Substance.
They were released to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Orangeville on May 26th, 2014 to answer to their respective charges.
