(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON) – The City of Kawartha Lakes Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Crime Unit is conducting an investigation into an incident that took place involving a male youth. The incident took place in Bobcaygeon over the weekend.
As a result of the investigation, 53 years old James MCLEAN of Bobcaygeon, and 26 years old Justin FREEMAN of Fenelon Falls, have been arrested and charged with the following offences:
Sexual Assault contrary to section 271 of the Criminal Code of Canada (CCC)
Gang Sexual Assault contrary to section 272(1)(d) of the CCC
Forcible Confinement contrary to section 279(2) of the CCC
Both accused were arrested on the weekend and held for a bail hearing today in Lindsay Court.
